The academy will at the most fundamental level advance engineering education by innovatively combining philosophy, reasoning, and liberal arts into the core curriculum across various science and engineering disciplines. In the process the academy will continually develop new knowledge that advances the “human fine art” and “scientific methodologies” of leadership development that will positively transform the way leaders, their organizations and their societies confront the most difficult challenges of the 21st century.
